Simpsons' chef director Luke Tipping has got it together with Birmingham clothing brand Luke 1977 in a collab which celebrates the Edgbaston Village restaurant’s 25th anniversary. Tipping first came across Luke1977 when buying a shirt from their Brum store and began to use the brand’s logo as his Twitter icon. He later met the man behind the brand, Luke Roper, with whom it turned out Tipping shared more than a first name — a home town of Walsall, plus a love of music, football and golf.

With good food and fashion perhaps more predictably on the shared interests list, the two Lukes have decided to cement their relationship, with Simpsons' front of house team wearing specially designed Luke1977 shirts and trousers.
